Lena's pedigree is loaded with names like Buddy Roe, Sewell's Sam, Kilburn's Chocolate Sundown, Dock and Johnson's Toby.  She has beautiful hard hoofs that never need special care.  She puts beautiful babies on the ground that have her wonderful disposition.  Every day she meets us at the gate so she can walks us to the barn.  She is truly a one of a kind very special girl.         

We are so proud to have Yankee's Lady as the newest addition to our breeding program.   She is a daughter of Yankee (Ragtime) and a grandaughter of Tobe.  Her Dam is Davis' Sandy, bred by E.R. Davis Jr.  This wonderful foundation Rocky Mountain mare has produced champions such as the 2006 RMHA International Grand Champion Trail Pleasure horse; “South Forty’s Francesca”.  Her 2006 and 2007 foals are pictured below, China Doll and Ell.  Lady has a nice low ground covering easy trail-gait prized by riders of the Rocky Mountain Horse.  She gaits freely in the pasture and passes this gait onto her offspring.  Her 2009 foal will be the product of a union between Lady and The Comet which produced a buckskin in 2007.
